Is this an official American Red Cross babysitting certification?
Yes. Students receive an official American Red Cross Babysitting Certification issued by an authorized training provider.
What age is recommended for babysitting certification?
The American Red Cross recommends this course for ages 11–15. If your child is close to this range, contact us to discuss options.
Does the class include CPR and First Aid training?
Yes. Pediatric CPR and First Aid training is included in the Red Cross Babysitting course.
If you would like receive certification for Pediatric CPR and First Aid please choose Red Cross Babysitting plus CPR & First Aid Certification.
How long does the babysitting certification class take?
Classes are approximately six hours and are instructor-led with hands-on activities.
What if I don’t see a class date available?
If no dates are listed, please CONTACT US. We regularly schedule new classes and offer private group sessions.
Do you offer group babysitting classes for schools or scout troops?
Yes. We offer private babysitting certification classes for schools, scout troops, churches, and community groups.
How long is babysitting certification valid?
There is no expiration date for the Red Cross Babysitting Training and Certification.
Pediatric CPR & First Aid certification is valid for two years.
Will I receive an official Red Cross certification?
Upon successful completion, students receive an official American Red Cross Babysitting Certification, issued by an Authorized American Red Cross Training Provider.
How do I receive my certification?
Official digital certificates will be emailed directly from the American Red Cross.
